Why I Keep Coming Back to Stoicism
Books on Stoicism ground me. They cut through anxiety with clarity. They remind me that setbacks are just part of the path. That discomfort is a teacher. That nothing external—status, wealth, recognition—can give me lasting peace. Only my mindset can.
Of course, I don’t always live by Stoic principles. I still get impatient. I still care too much about things I can’t control. But the stoic books remind me that practicing Stoicism isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. Each day is a chance to respond rather than react.
