Are influencers becoming the new tabloids—and are we OK with that?

A decade ago, celebrity tabloids were criticized for invading privacy and twisting stories. Now, it seems many influencers are turning themselves into tabloid stars—broadcasting drama, feuds, and personal crises for clicks.

This article discusses the shift from privacy to performance:🔗 https://influencersgonewildblog.com/

It shows how “reality-style content” blurs the line between honesty and sensationalism. Influencers expose themselves and others, often without consent, to gain traction. Some even fabricate drama to manufacture relevance.

So here’s what I’m wondering:

  • Is this self-exploitation, or just a savvy marketing move?

  • How do we balance transparency with boundaries in influencer culture?

  • Are we watching entertainment—or feeding a toxic cycle?

As viewers, do we want truth, or do we just want tea?
