Dude, been there. Most of that free stuff is a total scam. I had one freeze my browser and blast me with pop-ups. These days I stick with browser-only stuff, no downloads. I’ve used read more a couple times when I was curious — works better than expected, especially if the photo’s clear. Still not perfect, but way less shady than those random free tools you find in forums.

Always a weird feeling seeing how far tech like this has come. Part of me thinks it’s kinda impressive, but also makes you wonder how easy it is to cross into the “too far” territory. Stuff like this definitely walks that line.
